In this area, you can walk for enjoying the beach. But if you want to swim, you must wait until the sea rise, because when it set the water depth is about at your knee. It is the alternative tourism place in Bali for enjoying the sea, the sand and the sun.

Equally to Kuta, it has more expensive accommodation than in Kuta but cheaper than Nusa Dua. Mostly, inns in Sanur has air conditioning and swimming pool. In the north of Sanur there is Grand Bali Beach Hotel. It is the big and luxurious hotel, since it has golf field  and on the south there are some hotels, restaurants and stores facing to the beach on Danau Tamblingan Street. The names of the street here use the name one of the lake in Indonesia.

Much kind of restaurants are spread around the beach, so it will be easy for you to find place for dining which is less cheap than in hotel restaurant. You will not only get a cheaper dine here, but also for the handicrafts, clothes, and others unique stuffs.

Sanur atmosphere is quite different with Kuta. It more silent than in Kuta. Of course there are some boys who’s sometime disturbing you selling some stuffs. In the night, if you are bored, you can go to Kuta. It is actually close to Sanur, you will enjoy the night until morning by dances, or other entertainment there.

You can also enjoy the night in Rumours Nightclub which is located in Pantai Sindhuyang Street, although it is not merry as in Kuta. Some of local teenagers and tourists love to visit it. Whereas, Bali Janger discotheque is usually visited by locals. Another popular club in Sanur is No 1 Club.

If you are shopper mania, you can visit the stores in Bypass Ngurah Rai Street to find some unique things. Then, you can visit Jaya kesuma Art Market, Double U shopping centre, Sanur Beach Market, Sindhu Art Market or Dayang Art market to buy some souvenirs and clothes. 

For exercise in Sanur, you can do windsurfing, parasailing, jet ski, water ski, or snorkeling. Diving is not interesting exercise in here, but you can enjoy many kind fishes in coral area by snorkeling. In this area, you also can do bowling or golf on Grand Bali Beach Hotel area.
