BATUBULAN
Batubulan is a sculpture craft center from the stone. There are hundreds of statues are displayed at the street edge started from Batubulan village to the north of Tegaltamu, and up to Silakarang. Most of the stone statues used as the guards of the Balinese gate you find out all over Dewata Island are made by sculptors from Batubulan.

Tourists can come here and see how the sculptors work. Many of them are teenagers. The sculptors have to sculpt chunks of the mountain stones become statues.

Batubulan and the around areas have a number of famous temples for having soft and beautiful carved stones. One of the beautiful temples in this area is Pura Paseh. You can visit Pura Paseh which lies 200 meters to the East from the road. This temple is suitable to visit for its unique decoration, different from others.

Batubulan also becomes a market center of antique stuffs, various handicrafts, textiles, and carved woods. Souvenir shops around Batubulan also sell those things except stone statues. Moreover, there are some shops presenting Balinese traditional performance, such as Barong and Rangda dances. Taman Burung & Rimba Reptil
Near to the Batubulan, in the North of Tegaltamu, there is Taman Burung tourism object which is often known for having 1000 species out of 250 species, included Cendrawasih bird from Papua and some species of Balinese original birds which are known to be scarce. The park with 2 hectares in large is arranged alike a park adoring with various tropical plants.
