Pura Jaganatha built in 1953, it is dedicated to the God, Sanghyang Widi. It is one of the Pura which is often used by Balinese for praying at afternoon, because of that this Pura often close for tourist visiting. Twice in a month, the Cultures Festival is presented.
The location is nearby the State Museum of Bali Province. The worship place or Padmasaba consist of throne on two of dragon which is made from the white coal stone and as symbol of the world foundation. The wall telling about the story of Ramayana and Mahabarata by carved object.
Beside the Cultures Festival, there also Bali Arts Festival, one of the important culture event in Bali. It presents on early June until July and shows the Bali dance, music, and Bali handicraft. Actually, it shows a whole things that represent Bali. The festival opening begins with the spectacular parade around Denpasar. Bali Arts Festival presented in Wedhi Budaya Park.
Wedhi Budaya Park is the center of Bali Arts. It was built for the first time in 1973 as Arts Academic and exhibit many kind of Bali cultures. This building has Art Gallery which a luxurious building. This park is located in the angle between Hayam Wuruk Street and Nusa Indah Street.
