The Next Earthquake in Jambi Sumatera

The earthquake felt by peoples in Kerinci and Sungai Penuh city. All people are run out from their house to save their life.

Because of panic and bad experience before, all people doesn't have time to save their house and property. They just stayed in evacuation camp. Even, at 9.20 AM the following earthquake has happened with 5,5 magnitude.

The epicentrum of the earthquake is happened in 10 km depth or about 28 km from Sungai Penuh, exactly in Gunung Raya subdistrict.

Almost 16 villages in Gunung Raya subdistrict has destroyed. Tanjung Sam, Lolo Kecil, and Lolo Besar are villages with the worst serious damege. In that 3 villages all house are broken down.

At least 1.100 houses are broken because of the earthquake. 2 people died, 25 peoples injured badly and 12 peoples bone are broken. All of injured or died peoples have evacuated to Mayjen A.H. Thalib Hospital, in Sungai Penuh city.

From the recent data, from 1.100 broken house, 600 are heavily broke and almost broken down. 3 mosques almost broken down and 20 mosques lightly broke. Beside that, 16 elementary schools, 3 junior high schools, and 2 senior high schools are heavily broken.
