Padang Bai is the harbour connected between Bali and Lombok island via the ferry. The trip will take the time in about 5 hours, quiet long. There are 4 times trip in a day. At the same place, this is also known as the entering gate for tourist from overseas, with their cruise or yatch.

In Padang Bai, nowdays there are some Bali hotel or inn, available to be stayed. Some of the restaurants is also available there. Of course, some souvenir shops  can be found there, at the inside area of the harbour, or at the parking area.

What is interesting from the object around Padang Bai, the place is (the bay) is covered by a black-strong coral, so the under sea living is safe. At the east side of Padang Bai beach, the sand of the beach looks clean white, and thick textured. Good place for swimming and sun bathing. Much of funny fishes. This is also a good place for diving and snorkeling.
