Mount Agung is one of the active mountain in Bali island. The last eruption of the mountain was in 1963, with the impact mostly hitted the Karangasem district. Karangasem is located at the most east side of Bali island.

In the bilge of the mountain, there is a Pura Besakih (Besakih Temple), the biggest temple complex in Bali. Inside Besakih Temple, you will be find other 18 temples. This is a temple complex which is the center of activity from all temple in Bali. The place is located about 70 kilometers from Denpasar, the capital city of Bali. For some Great Days if Balinese, most of them must be attended to this temple for praying.
