When you are entering the temple, to honour the tradition of the temple, you need to wear a tidy-gentle cloth and shawl. The guard of the entrance will not allowed you in if you are wearing a short, a tank top, a vest, mini skirt or a bikini. If you do not bring the shawl, they will advise you to borrow it at the counter near the entrance for just a couple of cent. Another one thing, a women in menstruation is not allowed to entering the temple.

The Besakih Temple is open from 8am to 5pm, everyday. But, if you visit the temple of your Balinese friend, they are open for 24 hours for you.

Entrance fee for the temple is IDR 10.000 and parking fee is IDR 5.000. If you are visiting the temple by your self, a local guide will say hello to you, and offering their self to guide you while you in the complex of the temple. The cost is vary between IDR 15.000 until IDR 40.000. Please be clever to bargain.
