The area of Batubulan is very close to the other Bali places of interest, such as silver center Celuk and art center Sukawati.

The tourist can come to this area, and see how the craftsmen work. Many of them is still very young, or teenage. The craftsmen is working to carve the big stone to be made for statues. The stones were came from the mountain, with the texture of soft, but light.

Because of the famously of the statues made from here, Batubulan also has a well-known temple, or Pura, called Paseh Temple (Pura Paseh). The tourist can visit this temple, for about 200 meters to the east from the main road. This temple is quiet interesting to be visited as it has a different decoration compared with the others.

Batubulan is also became the center of the selling of antique stuffs, diversely handicrafts, textiles and wood carving. Many of shops along the roads of Batubulan is also sell this kind of stuffs. Even some of stores performs daily Balinese dance such as Barong Dance and Rangda Dance. Mostly, these performance has been performing on the daylight.
