Gitgit Waterfall Bali

Bali is not only for the beach, temple, bar, or rice terrace. There are so many other attractive things to see, such as waterfall. Despite there are some waterfalls in Bali, this writing is to show about one of the best waterfall in Bali called Gitgit waterfall. The waterfall is popular among the tourist, for both local and overseas. Gitgit waterfall has more than 1 different entrance gates. Each gate offering an interesting experience about waterfall. So, which ever you entering this place of interest, surely you will find it happily.

Gitgit waterfall is close to Singaraja, one of the district in Bali. It is about 11 kilometers to the south, heading to Bedugul. While if you reach Gitgit from the capital city of Denpasar, you will need for about 2 hours drive. For your information, both from Singaraja or Denpasar, the road condition leading to Gitgit is great. So you will drive in a safe and wonderful way. If you start from Singaraja, about 90% you will across the mountain along the trip, and if you start from Denpasar, the first one third trip you will across Denpasar city and also Sanur area, and the rest you will see nice view along the road, like rice field and then mountain nuance.

As stated on the first sentence of above paragraph, if you have a time, when you are in Bedugul, it is very recommended to stop by to enjoy one of the beautiful lake in Bali, called Beratan Lake, famous with Bedugul area. Just park the car at the parking area, and see the lake with the family or friend can be refreshing activity. Do not forget to make some photographs there. For Muslim tourist, there is a big mosque so it is available to pray anytime there.

Gitgit waterfall is 35 meters high. The area of the waterfall is also great for other activity that is trekking. The location is quiet challenging, with the up-down pathways, and also many curves. The atmosphere of the jungle giving added value to this one of popular places of interest in Bali. The stones, the sound of water, natural garden, rice fields, fresh air and the waterfall itself, is the perfect combination to enjoy Bali nature.

The entrance fee of Gitgit waterfall is also quiet cheap. No more than IDR 5.000 per person. For those who bring their children, it should become a wonderful experience for them. They can take a bath under the waterfall, fell the fresh water and air from the location. Close to the tourism object, there is also a rest area to just relaxing body for a while.
